Watermelon Bowl

The Watermelon Bowl is inspired by Frida Kahlo's last painting before she passed.

Although the artist’s life was filled with pain and hardship, her final tribute was of bright watermelons with “Viva La Vida” written on them- translated to mean “Long Live Life.”

Let this be a reminder to find the sweetness in life and to remain open to the simple pleasures that exist in every moment, like the bite of a juicy watermelon in the heat of a summer’s day.

No matter what we are going through, there's always an opportunity to transform pain into healing.
